Christeos Pir

  • Biography: Fr. Christeos Pir (T אריה) has been a member of O.T.O. since 04/04/93, and is Past Master of William Blake Oasis (now William Blake Lodge), past Secretary and Deputy Master of Scarlet Woman Lodge in Austin TX, and past Most Wise Sovereign of Baphomet Chapter Rose Croix. He is now a Bishop of EGC and a Sovereign Grand Inspector General. He recently completed his M.A. with a thesis on religion and the supernatural in contemporary Japanese popular culture and is currently teaching History of Globalization at a private university. He has been studying and writing about the magickal system of Dr. John Dee and Sir Edward Kelley for more than 20 years, and is the author of “An Essay on Enochian Pronunciation,” “The Watchtowers of the World,” “Traversing the Aethyrs,” “Enchanting Modernity,” “Mircea, Mircea Me: An Examination of Eliade’s Theories on the Sacred, as Expressed in the Doctrine and Ritual of the Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica,” and other essays, and has been threatening for some time to complete a book tentatively titled Enochian 101. He has led seminars and experimental study groups in various subjects at a number of O.T.O. bodies, at NOTOCON, at Ecumenicon/Sacred Space (a national pagan-oriented ecumenical conference), and at several Texas OTO Conventions (TOTOCONs). He is moderator of the Enochian e-group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/enochian, and web manager for the Japan Anthropology Workshop and Hagiography Society academic organizations.

David Melton

  • Biography: David Melton began exploring the mysteries in 1988. He has been active in the central Indiana pagan community since 1991 as an educator, priest, and group leader. David became an initiate of the Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO) in 1996. He has served as priest of the Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica (EGC) since 2000. David has presented workshops and led rituals at ConVocation and the Chrysalis Moon festival, Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans, and numerous local magical groups. His articles have been published online and in several regional newsletters. David’s current areas of study and practice include alchemy, sacred geometry, Reiki, and ceremonial magic.

Dr. David Shoemaker

  • Biography: Dr. David Shoemaker is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Sacramento, California, and has been a member of O.T.O. since 1993. David is the Past-Master of 418 Lodge in Sacramento, having succeeded Soror Meral, his friend and teacher. He also serves as the M.W.S. of Alpha Chapter, and as a Sovereign Grand Inspector General of the Order. David was the founding President of the O.T.O. Psychology Guild, and a frequent speaker at NOTOCON. He is also member of the Planning, Initiation Training, and EGC Clergy Training committees, and he serves as a Certified Initiator Trainer. His areas of interest include Qabalistic Psychology, ritual design, Raja Yoga, and systems of initiation (including Golden Dawn-style rites and the A.’.A.’.). A Bishop of EGC, David led the team that developed the Pastoral Counseling Workshops. He was a co-editor of the journals Cheth (418 Lodge) and Neshamah (Psychology Guild). His Living Thelema podcasts have been regularly presented since 2010, and the popular book of the same name was released in late 2013.. Frater AISh MLChMH

  • Biography: Brother AISh MLChMH has been an active member of Ordo Templi Orientis for over 26 years.  He is a former body master of Leaping Laughter Lodge in Minnesota, and a former secretary of the U.S. Grand Tribunal.  An ordained Priest and M.M.M. Initiator within O.T.O. since 1998 e.v., he regularly serves the community of Scarlet Woman Lodge in a clerical and initiatory capacity. He is also a certified trainer for the 0-IIIrd degrees. At his local body he currently leads a monthly discussion of the Class B A∴A∴ text, Liber Aleph.
     
    Additionally, he is an active participant in Heart of Blood’s productions of The Rites of Eleusis.  His talk, given at the O.T.O. in North America Centennial Conference in Vancouver, “The Alpha and Omega of Initiation,” was recently published as an essay in Success Is Your Proof, One Hundred Years of O.T.O. in North America.  He is presently at work on a text that will address in part, symbolism and Qabalistic doctrine within The Gnostic Mass.  Professionally, he is an educator, and resides in Texas with his wife, and their pet snake and rabbit.

Frater Enatheleme

  • Biography: Frater Enatheleme is a Priest, Initiator, artist, and scientist in Portland, Oregon. Originally hailing from the wild mountains of Montana, where he began his 20-year study of the esoteric arts, he served as an officer of Sekhet-Maat Lodge, Ordo Templi Orientis 2000-2009, and as Lodge Master 2006-2009. He is a member of the U.S. Grand Lodge Strategic Planning Committee and maintains the U.S.G.L. Online Library.Frater Enatheleme’s writing and editing work has contributed to the development of O.T.O. in Portland and to the promulgation of the Law of Thelema worldwide. He is a principal contributor to Thelemapedia, and former editor of Agapé and of Lion & Serpent. He is a founding co-producer of the monthly Speech in the Silence podcast and the creator of the political parody campaign, Aleister Crowley 2012. Fr. Enatheleme also created and moderated Thelemic Symposium, an annual event from 2002 to 2012 e.v.Fr. Enatheleme has participated in hundreds of public dramatic rituals in the last two decades, in every aspect of such productions, from performance in solo ritual, to Eucharistic ceremony and initiatory rites, to directing and producing invocative performances with full lighting & live music, to promotion and support of dramatic ritual groups in other cities like Eleusyve Productions.He has spoken publicly on a variety of topics including Thelema, magick, and organizational leadership in Portland and various other locations in the U.S. and abroad. Jessica Melusine (Soror Kaywinnit Lux)

  • Biography: Jessica Melusine (Soror Kaywinnit Lux) is a writer and performer who lives and works in the Washington, DC area. Her work has appeared in the books Red Light: Saints, Sluts and Superheroes, Shameless: Women’s Intimate Erotica and Zaftig: Well Rounded Erotica and in a forthcoming anthology from Soft Skull Press. She has performed spoken word at Ladyfests from the Bay Area to New York City, performs burlesque and publishes the zineHouri for Hire. Jessica Melusine has presented at conferences including the American Folklore Society, Pantheacon (with multimedia artist Melissa Gira), the 2006 Sex Work Matters: Beyond Divides conference at The New School in New York City to the 2006 OTO Women’s Symposium. Tau Asteria

  • Biography: Kerry Kurowski (Soror Hypatia) joined Ordo Templi Orientis in 1995. She served as past treasurer of William Blake Oasis, and as master of William Blake Lodge from 2001-2008. As a speaker, she has given numerous classes on the role of the priestess, Tarot, magick, astrology, the O.T.O. and many other topics. She has presented at O.T.O. bodies all around the East Coast, in Australia, in May 2008 at Gathering of the Tribesin Oslo, NOTOCON IV and VI, and served as on-site conference chair for NOTOCON V. Her experience as a credit counselor inspired her to create the workshop Financial Planning for Magicians featured at Thelema Wow! 2002 and at Knights Templar Oasis in 2003. She is an ordained priestess, a member of the Profess House Committee, and recently became U.S. Grand Lodge E.G.C. Secretary in 2008. She works as a professional event manager.

M. Dionysius Rogers

  • Biography: M. Dionysius Rogers joined OTO in 1992, and has served the organization in local, national and international offices. Currently a member of Aum. Ha. Lodge and Ouarda Chapter, he is a Certified Initiator Trainer in MMM, and an active EGC Bishop providing training to clergy and instruction to laity. He is a scholar of religion who has made presentations on esoteric and occult topics at academic conferences in Europe and the USA regularly since 2004, and he is a charter member of Academia Ordo Templi Orientis. Dr. Vere Chappell

  • Biography: Dr. Vere Chappell is a writer, photographer, and researcher specializing in sexuality and spirituality. He travels extensively, studying and documenting sacred sexuality in art, history, and culture around the world. He has been a practitioner of ceremonial magick for 30 years, and joined Ordo Templi Orientis in 1989. Shortly thereafter he founded LVX Camp (now Star Sapphire Lodge) in Los Angeles, and has served as Treasurer General for OTO worldwide since 2005. As a Bishop of Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica he trains and supervises clergy and regularly administers the sacraments of the church. He holds a doctoral degree in Human Sexuality and is a founding member of the Academia Ordo Templi Orientis, a scholarly research society within OTO. He is the author of “Sexual Outlaw, Erotic Mystic: The Essential Ida Craddock” (Red Wheel/Weiser, 2010) and editor of “Lunar and Sex Worship” (Teitan Press, 2010) and “Snowdrops from a Curate’s Garden” by Aleister Crowley (Edda Publishing, 2013). He lives in Southern California with his wife, Lita-Luise Chappell.
