Christeos Pir (TX)
Fr. Christeos Pir has been a member of O.T.O.since 04/04/93, and is a Past Master of William Blake Oasis. He is currently Secretary of Scarlet Woman Lodge in Austin TX, where he is attending UT as a student of religion and philosophy. He has been studying and writing about the magickal system of Dr. John Dee and Sir Edward Kelley for more than 15 years, and is the author of "An Essay on Enochian Pronunciation," "The Problem of Elemental-Directional Attributions in Enochian Magick," "A Phonetic Guide to the Enochian Calls," "Traversing the Aethyrs," and other essays, and has been threatening for some time to complete a book tentatively titled Enochian 101. He has led seminars and experimental study groups in Enochian at two different O.T.O. bodies, at Ecumenicon/Sacred Space, a national pagan-oriented ecumenical conference, and at the 1st Annual Austin Ceremonial Magick Workshop, which was sponsored by several Golden Dawn groups and hosted at Scarlet Woman Lodge's temple in Austin. In 2003, he led a two-day Enochian workshop conference hosted by the Institute for Hermetic Studies in Wyoming, PA. He is the moderator of the Enochian e-group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/enochian/.
What is the Enochian thing I keep hearing about? This workshop, which in its entirety covers two days of lecture, discussion, and hands-on ritual scrying, covers the historical, theoretical, and practical world of the work of Dr. John Dee and Sir Edward Kelley. Beginning with a brief look at Dee in his world, we then discuss the reception of the Enochian systems (yes, plural!), the details of working with Enochian magick, the magical revival of the 19th and 20th centuries, and some unresolved issues in Enochian work. Handouts are provided.
A 90 minute discussion on some of the unanswered questions in Enochian magick: the different versions of the tables and angelic names, discrepancies between those tables and the list of 91 'Governors of the World,' the problem of elemental-directional attributions in the tablets, and the competing systems of thought around how to pronounce the Angelic Language.
Craig Berry (CA)
Craig Berry has been a member of O.T.O. since 1987. He has held a wide variety of offices in O.T.O., including Master of Baphomet Lodge, Bishop of E.G.C., and U.S.G.L. Internet Secretary. His esoteric interests include Aztec mythology and the use of humor in magick. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
The Aztecs are commonly thought of as a bloodthirsty and arrogant people, and this characterization is accurate as far as it goes. But there is much more to be found in the history, myths, and rituals of this fascinating civilization. This class provides an introduction to Aztec thought and culture, with particular emphasis on matters of interest to Thelemic magicians.
Gnostic Boot Camp is a monthly E.G.C. study group held at LVX Lodge. Gnostic Road Show takes the same format and packages it for travel. This is a participatory seminar examining specific aspects of the central ritual of O.T.O. The particular topics covered vary with each session, based on the desires of the hosting group and the whims of the presenter.
Everybody tosses around phrases like "I've got Gemini rising" and "Mercury retrograde," but not many understand what that means in the actual sky. Astronomology joins astronomy and astrology to provide a grounding in how planets move in the solar system, how those planets look from particular places on Earth, and how these combine to create a chart wheel. A little bit of interpretation advice is tossed in along the way.
David Hill (Ministerio Caritas) (TX)
Frater MC has been a member of the O.T.O. for over ten years. He has served in various local body administrative positions, as the International Initiation Secretary for I.H.Q., and as a Priest in the E.G.C. He gives regular lectures at Scarlet Woman Lodge and is currently seeking admission to a doctoral program in clinical psychology.
Frater MC can offer a series of lectures on the antecedent rites of the O.T.O. as listed in Liber 52. Each lecture can vary in length from 1 to 2 hours. A 1 to 2 hour overview of the various rites and their connection to the O.T.O. is also offered.
David Melton (IN)
I have been offering classes and leading discussions in the pagan/magical community since 1990. For 6 years, I taught refresher-training sessions in electronics troubleshooting to Army Reserve personnel. I spent 3 years training county and municipal employees in the use of geographic information systems and computer assisted mass appraisal software. In 2001 I presented a paper on inductive approaches to project development at the 25th annual conference of the Geospatial Information & Technology Association.
In this day-long practical seminar, participants gain an understanding of the history, principles, and methods of sacred geometry through practical exploration. No special mathematical/geometric knowledge is required.
This 3-4 hour discussion provides an introduction to the principles and processes of alchemy as they relate to the spiritual development of the practitioner. For a day-long seminar, combine this discussion with "Alchemical Symbolism in the Gnostic Mass".
This 1-2 hour discussion requires a basic understanding of the symbols and processes of alchemy. Participants will explore the pervasive alchemical symbolism in the Gnostic Mass, and discuss its implications. If not paired with "Introduction to Spiritual Alchemy" for a day-long workshop, I can provide a 1 hour introduction to the basics of alchemy that will be sufficient for understanding its symbolism in the Mass.
This synthesis of the Native American sweat lodge ceremony with the principles of Alchemy leads participants on an initiatic journey through the elements. Special facilities and safety precautions are necessary for this workshop. Contact me for specific details
This overview of bookbinding techniques and materials includes topics such as making your own paper and ink, repairing damaged books, and rebinding paperbacks in hard covers. This topic works equally well as a lecture, or as a participatory workshop.
In this 2-3 hour workshop, participants will gain a basic understanding of the symbols of alchemy, and gain practical experience using them as divinatory and magical tools.
This 2-3 hour discussion provides an alchemical model for ritual planning and execution. The basic symbolism of alchemy and the basic structure of ritual are also covered.
Dr. David Shoemaker (CA)
Dr. David Shoemaker is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Sacramento, California, and has been a member of O.T.O. since 1993. David assumed the Mastership of 418 Lodge in the Spring of 2004, just before the death of Soror Meral, his friend and teacher. He is the founding President of the O.T.O. Psychology Guild, and he was a speaker at NOTOCON 2001, 2003 and 2005. He joined the Kaaba Colloquium team in late 2005, and serves as a Kaaba presenter as his schedule permits. His areas of interest include Qabalistic psychology, ritual design, Raja Yoga, and systems of initiation (including G.'.D.'.-influenced traditions and the A.'.A.'.). As an ordained Priest of E.G.C., David led the team that developed the Pastoral Counseling Workshops, and he enjoys bringing the Workshops to members around the U.S. In addition to his work in magick and psychology, David is a composer and musician. He lives in Sacramento with his wife, Anna Tsu, and his eleven year-old son.
In this entertaining presentation, Dr. David Shoemaker discusses the legend of Parsifal, the Grail King, and explains its connections with the Gnostic Mass, the formula of Tetragrammaton, and the personal initiatory path of every aspirant to the Great Work. The discussion is enhanced by scenes from Wagner's opera, Parsifal, and related audio-visual material. 2-4 hours, flexible.
What do black holes, DNA, and the particle/wave controversy have in common? In this entertaining presentation, Dr. David Shoemaker demonstrates how the frontiers of modern science are modern humanityâs true alchemical art.  Examining fields such as astronomy, physics and biology, Dr. Shoemaker explores the inner nature of alchemy, revealing it to be the projection of Mystery onto all frontiers of knowledge, rather than a rigid and antiquated set of terms and practices. If you enjoy overturning your conceptions of reality, this presentation is for you! 2-4 hours, flexible.
An introductory lecture exploring Jungian/transpersonal psychology as it relates to Qabalistic Psychology and the initiatory path (particularly from the perspective of the A.'.A.'.). 2-4 hours, flexible.
Eric C. Friedman (IL)
Eric C. Friedman has accumulated a wide range of learning and experience in diverse magical paths. While engaged in rabbinical studies on Mt. Zion, Jerusalem, Eric was initiated into the study of traditional Hebrew Qabalah. He is also a 2° Alexandrian Wiccan Priest, an ordained minister of the Church of Ancient Ways, and the founder and former Director of the Long Island Open Circle. Lovecraft Tarot, and is presently working on a translation of the Ginat Egoz, which Weiser will publish as The Sefer Yetzirah Companion.
This presentation will be a look at the presenterâs forthcoming book from Weiser, The Sefer Yetzirah Companion, with a particular view of the practical magical applications of the traditionalpath attribution of the Hebrew letters. The Sefer Yetzirah Companion is a translation of the second section of Sefer Ginat Egoz, a 13th century commentary on Sefer Yetzirah by R. Joseph Gikatilla; author of Shaarei Orah (âPortae Lucisâ). It provides, for the first time, a rich depth of material regarding the mystical, magical, and cosmological attributions of the Hebrew letters coming directly from an original Hebrew source.

This presentation is adapted from his forthcoming book Magick is for ALL: A Beginner's Guide to Aleister Crowley.
Larger than life personalities naturally lend themselves to fictional treatment and Aleister Crowley is no exception. Fictionalised Crowleys have been given roles as diverse as villain, anit-hero, charlatan and sage, becoming the archetype of the modern occultist in popular culture. This presentation will examine such diverse works as Somerset Maugham's The Magician, Dennis Wheatley's The Devil Rides Out, Robert Anton Wilson's Masks of the Illunimati, Ian Fleming's James Bond novels, Alan Moore's comic Promethea and, of course, Crowley's own fiction. He presented "Ida Craddock: Sexual Mystic and Martyr for Freedom" at NOTOCON II in 1999 which was later published in Book of Lies: The Disinformation Guide to Magick and the Occult. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in human sexuality and is happy to travel and share his perspectives with interested brethren throughout the world.
The concept of "True Will" is of paramount importance to Thelema. Without a solid understanding of True Will, magick is a hit-or-miss proposition. The first task of every Thelemite should be to discover his or her True Will. Although each individual must accomplish this discovery for him or herself, the O.T.O. may assist by providing a supportive environment and tools for the magician to use in his or her quest. To this end, Frater SLQ presents his class entitled "True Will: What It Is, How To Discover It, and What To Do with It." The class will cover the the theory of the True Will in terms of Thelemic doctrine and psychology, introduce practical techniques for discovering it, and discuss what to do with it once you've found it. The class promises to be enlightening for beginners and experienced magicians alike.
When properly understood and applied, sex magick is one of the most potent tools in the arsenal of the magician. This class will explore the metaphysical, psychological, and physiological foundations of sex magick, with special attention paid to those aspects which are embedded in the initiatory and religious systems of O.T.O. (without compromising obligated material). In addition, we will discuss practical considerations for successful operations in this mode of working. A thorough introduction to this intriguing and important subject.
Frater W.I.T. (CA)
Frater W.I.T. is an initiate of magical schools inspired by both the Masonic and Rosicrucian traditions. He has been actively practicing Hermetic Qabalistic magick for the last twenty years. He is the author of Enochian Initiation: A Thelemite's Magical Journey into the Ultimate Transcendence and The Computerized Grimoire. He will be publishing other books detailing his experiences and metaphysical thought in the future.
The motivation and process of group initiation is described in detail and then self initiation is compared to this discussion. Enochian magick is suggested as the ideal system of self initiation. Its history and usage is described in detail and then a practical demonstration based on a short form ceremony given in Enochian Initiation is given.
Timothy Leary's model of the evolution and nature of human consciousness is discussed in its social and cultural context. It is related to Hermetic magick and the results of these systems are contrasted and compared. Predictions for the future of humanity are discussed.

I recently attended a workshop by Richard Bandler, one of the creators of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). I got to have a little conversation with him, and he told me that he loved Aleister Crowley. He said that NLP was just "Magick" for lay people. I laughed and pointed to my book The New Hermetics, saying that my book was NLP for magical people. In this workshop we will discuss the "model" of progressive OTO initiation as it relates to personal development and transformation into a "Master of Life." Although the topic will cover many of the degrees of the OTO, the presentation will confine itself to the general model of the OTO discussed in The Equinox III:10, so will only be tyled to the Minerval degree. Using everything from the Goetia to Neuro-Linguistic Programming we will learn how magical techniques, both ancient and modern, can be used to literally transform ourselves into the powerful beings we are meant to be. We can shed the the parts of ourselves that do not work, and instead invoke the Beauty and Strength that reside deep within.

This workshop will focus on exploring magick and marginalized images of women from the worlds of high and low culture with emphasis on the low, or what is seen in "bad taste." What makes a woman in bad taste and how can this embody magick or wholeness? We'll talk about The Homewrecker, The Slut, The Queen, The Ballbuster, The Bitch, The Butch, The Whore, The Freak, The Soccer Mom, The Psycho, The Stepford Wife, The Dying Saint, The Bunny, and The Scarlet Woman, as well as other examples in varieties of media; and looking on what happens when media figures and representations collide head-on with the Divine, and what happens when we can be hopelessly devoted to them. We'll talk about class, culture and media and have a ritual experience where these female figures come out to work it with us. Media incorporated will include, but are not limited to, films (including those by Russ Meyer, John Waters, Doris Wishman, Kenneth Anger), comics, magazines, advertisements, People, Hollywood Babylon, thinkers (including Aleister Crowley, Peter Carroll, Carol Queen, Jack Parsons, Scarlot Harlot, Hakim Bey, Susan Sontag, Lon Milo duQuette, John Waters, Angela Carter, Jill Nagle, Annie Sprinkle, Harry Hay), and more. The solar body is formulated by clothing the sun with the moon. At the moment of conception, the sperm is similarly clothed in the ovum. On another level, the solar body reflects into the lunar ethereal body. It is formed by a process of imagining ourselves reflected from our own body. Embark on an exploration of the gematria, symbolism, and etymology of "Liber Stellae Rubeae." We will explore the sexual and mystical in approaching this study of one of our Holy Books.

Very detailed information on managing personal finances from a magickal perspective. Goes into financial scary areas (collections, repos) and includes exercises in visualization and building a treasure map. Additional materials and handouts needed for this class. Day-long seminar
Important ideas to keep in mind for local body officers and any member. Touches upon dealing with the cops, pagan groups, family, co-workers, etc. and the media (because you canât always call the P.I.O. on the spot).
This is an awesome ritual which sensually raises energy (safely) with the goal of manifesting a specific intent.

His current projects include an edited and annotated re-issue of Crowley's Sword of Song and The Weiser Concise Guide to Aleister Crowley.
The life and career of magician Aleister Crowley are surrounded by controversy and, unsurprisingly, many urban legends. This workshop is based on the critically acclaimed biography Perdurabo: The Life of Aleister Crowley. It explores the facts about the man who called himself "The Great Beast," and knocks down the straw man that the gutter press labeled "The Wickedest Man in the World." Particular attention will be paid to Crowley's magick, and how his career as a magician influenced every aspect of his life.
A small network of like-minded individuals populated Victorian esoteric circles, particularly those few societies teaching techniques of practical magick. This talk examines the primordial soup from which 20th century icons like the Golden Dawn and Ordo Templi Orientis sprang. Groups discussed will include esoteric Freemasons (John Yarker, Kenneth Mackenzie, Theodor Reuss), Rosicrucians (W.W. Westcott, Frederick Hockley, Hargrave Jennings, Edward Bulwer-Lytton, Eliphas Lévi, Freeman Dowd), Martinists (Gérard Encausse), Église Gnostique (Jules Doinel, Jean Bricaud), the Brotherhood of Eulis (P.B. Randolph), and the Hermetic Brotherhood of Luxor (Peter Davidson, Thomas Burgoyne, Emma Hardinge Britten). Understanding these 19th century traditions informs and enlightens our magical practice in the 21st century.
The 19th and early 20th centuries were a hotbed of discourse on intercourse which spilled over into religion and esotericism. Beginning with the seminal works of Gnostic saints Richard Payne Knight, J.G.R. Forlong, Richard Burton and Hargrave Jennings, weâll uncover both the literature and practice of sacred sexuality as it sprung up before and beside Ordo Templi Orientis. Come one, come all to hear goodies about:
the Golden Dawnâs favorite sexual mystic, Thomas Lake Harris, who taught about breathing exercises, group marriage, and the fairies living in your breasts
the sexual mischief of Golden Dawn wanna-beâs Madame and Theo Horos
the less than Rosy relationship between sex magick pioneers Hargrave Jennings and Paschal Beverly Randolph
Carl Kellnerâs encounter with sacred sexuality and its entry into Ordo Templi Orientis
the unlikely two degrees of separation between Crowley and New York tantric initiator Oom the Omnipotent (and it doesnât involve Kevin Bacon)
Ida Craddockâs tell-all book about her marriage to an angel with godlike technique
This 3-hour exploration of the Gnostic Mass and its symbolism is an original, entertaining and exhaustive romp through kabbalah, Hargrave Jennings, Ananda Coomaraswamy, tantra, and numerous other observations on the Gnostic Mass collected over years of training, celebrating, and study. My best-received talk, either alone or as part of a larger E.G.C. training.
The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn introduced Aleister Crowley to Hermetic magic in 1898, and its teachings framed his subsequent ritual workings for a decade. However, by 1909, Crowley began leaning toward intense, ecstatic workings characterized by serial astral visions reported by one participant while the other acted as scribe. Some of Crowley's most dramatic and compelling experiences over the following decade owed themselves to this approach. Yet it was the sex magick techniques of the Ordo Templi Orientis, to which he was exposed in 1912, which ultimately became Crowley's favored modus operandi for the remainder of his life. In documenting the evolution of Crowley's magical methodology, the author analyzes both Crowley's published works, and his unpublished diaries, presenting information in both narrative and graphical form.
"Is Detroit heaven?" Aleister Crowley asked his field organizer, Charles Stansfeld Jones. It certainly seemed so at the time: Bookman Albert W. Ryerson was selling Crowley's books and publishing the latest installment of The Equinox; several prominent Masons were interested in establishing the Lakes Region of Ordo Templi Orientis; and Jones was in high demand teaching classes on magick and Thelema. But things turned suddenly sour. When slow book sales dragged the Universal Book Stores into bankruptcy, the activities of the O.T.O. were luridly thrust onto the front pages of the daily news. The Equinox was declared obscene and all copies impounded. The O.T.O. "love cult" was blamed for everything from broken homes and Hollywood's wild parties to the mysterious murder of film director William Desmond Taylor. This important yet little-known episode of occult history is based on Dr. Kaczynski's 2006 book by the same title.
Aleister Crowley's times in the United States (1914-1919) were watershed years in his magical growth. This time saw the initiation of the Magus To Mega Therion, along with his Magical Son and heir apparent, Frater Achad. Crowley experimented extensively and methodically with the sex magical techniques of the O.T.O. His seminal works were conceived (Magick in Theory and Practice), written (Liber Aleph and The General Principles of Astrology) and published (Gnostic Mass, Blue Equinox). And his attempts to establish a U.S. Grand Lodge in Detroit altered the way the O.T.O. does its rituals. This talk will recap these important hallmarks of Crowley's five year mission in America.
In the 1400s, the Jewish mystical system called the kabbalah split into two very different streams: The magical system taught by western mystery schools like the Golden Dawn, A.'.A,', and O.T.O.; and the rabbinical system found in works by Aryeh Kaplan, Benjamin Blech and the like. This talk will delve into both traditions: It will begin by covering how the kabbalah is treated in the west, including the essential tools and building blocks needed to get the most out of one's initiations and magical studies (including the Tree of Life, tarot, correspondences, and how these relate to banishing rituals and "Liber Resh"). Next, it will cover teachings and methods from the "kosher" kabbalah that are rarely discussed by western magicians, but which enrich and expand the practice of kabbalistic magick, including the Lurianic Tree of Life, meditative exercises from Isaac Luria to the early Chasidic mystics, kabbalistic sex magick, and equidistant letter sequences.
The Sword of Song is Crowley's first great talismanic book: Â Issued in 1904 as an opulent limited edition of 100 copies (with different colored covers), it featured a magic square on the cover with Crowley's name spelt in Hebrew to add to 666. Â The contents included poetic send-ups of Robert Browning; kabalistic journeys on the Tree of Life; serious essays on philosophy, science and Buddhism; and notorious bawdy in-jokes. Â Even more interesting is the story behind the book: Â How parts of it were written on a mountain while Crowley was delirious with malaria. Â How George Cecil Jones lost a defamation case against The Looking Glass newspapers because of the naughty bits in Sword of Song. And how the book's contentsâwritten in 1902 and 1903âprovide tantalizing foreshadowing of ideas that turn up later in The Book of the Law. Â This lecture grows out of research conducted on a forthcoming annotated edition of The Sword of Song.
The existing literature on season celebrations focuses on Pagan and Wiccan rites. But if you're a Golden Dawn/ceremonial magic(k) type, you might feel like you're out in the cold on Imbolc. In this class, we'll discuss problems and solutions in talking about seasonal traditions and the Feasts of the Times, and how even a ritual magician can celebrate the wheel of the year.
The Chaldean Oracles are a fragmentary collection of mystical and theurgic epigrams dating to the 2nd Century C.E. Although obscure, they heavily influenced western esoteric schools. Translations were published by prominent members of both the Golden Dawn (Westcott) and Theosophical Society (Mead). This lecture will examine the sometimes surprising places where The Chaldean Oracles turn up in the practical rituals of the Golden Dawn, Israel Regardie and Aleister Crowley, including the "Opening by Watchtower" and "Star Ruby." It will also examine modern research into the magical practices described in this ancient text.
Spiritualism became immensely popular on both sides of the Atlantic in the latter part of the 19th century, fostering the emergence of esoteric societies that promulgated the teachings of their figureheads like H.P. Blavatsky, Anna Kingsford and Annie Besant. A common theme in all these mystical groups was an enlightened view of gender and sexuality. Organizations like the Theosophical Society, Golden Dawn, Ordo Templi Orientis and Co-Masons broke with the tradition of admitting only men into their fraternities, instead welcoming spiritual seekers of either gender. The result of this worldview was that individuals frequently crossed into participation in the emerging equal rights movement, with some jailed--and in one case deadâin defense of their beliefs. This paper examines the role of Victorian popular interest in esotericism in the equal rights movement.
A common assertion in ritual magick is that magicians apply the scientific method to spiritual practice, following rigorous rules in their rituals and keeping detailed records of their activities. However, few teachers actually discuss the scientific method. This talk will describe how to apply research methodology to magick, and how to become a critical evaluator of your own magical work. How do you prove causality? What are possible alternative explanations? How to improve your approah? What does Occam's razor have to do with this? Dr. K has taught graduate level courses in research design and statistics since 1988.
They say that behind every great man is a great woman. It turns out there were several behind the Great Beast, and they were crucial to his spiritual accomplishments. Who were the women in Crowley's life and how did they shape his spiritual journey? This lecture will recount the stories of the remarkable women in Crowley's life, and the pivotal roles they played in the 20th century's revival of magick.
One of the joys of doing ritual is the creation of original ceremonies, yet this remains a daunting task for many. However, there are some basic formulas that you can use to structure your own magical rituals. Examples of these include the Golden Dawn Neophyte Ritual, Aleister Crowley's examples of formulae from Magick in Theory and Practice, and Swiss Army Knife procedures like the "Lesser Banishing Ritual." These approaches and others will be discussed for the production of original ceremonies tailored to one's personal tastes and traditions.
The practice of numerology is a long standing tradition in western occultism, with its origins in Hebrew and Greek mysticism. This talk presents various systems of reckoning the numerical equivalents of words in these and other languages, and discusses how to interpret the meanings of these numbers.
This practical workshop will examine various mini-rituals from the ceremonial magic tradition that are geared toward either grounding the practitioner or clearing the ritual area. Both procedures are commonly used prior to beginning larger-scale rituals. Specific rites presented will include the Middle Pillar, Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, and Star Ruby.
This talk explores how thinking in quantum physics, complexity theory, cellular automata, morphogenetic fields, psychology, the philosophy of science, and paradigm shifts all come to bear in the discussion of magick.
Scott Wilde (MN)
Brother Scott Wilde lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is employed as a Software Developer. He currently serves as the Treasurer of Leaping Laughter Lodge. His alter-ego for this presentation will be Frater Asicath, the 1st decan of Taurus, of whom Agrippa has this to say: "In the first face of Taurus ascendeth a naked man, an Archer, Harvester or Husbandman, and goeth forth to sow, plough, build, people, and divide the earth, according to the rules of Geometry."
Join Frater Asicath as he examines the 15th table from the Book of Enoch, otherwise known as Liber Loagaeth. This is one table in a series of 96 that John Dee and Edward Kelly received in the year 1584, each containing a 49x49 grid of a seemingly random assortment of numbers and letters. Reproduced in A True and Faithful Relation under the title "A Speciman of the Tables or Book of Enoch," this particular table has confounded magicians and academics alike throughout the centuries. During this presentation the listener will be instructed in the methods of seeing the sublime beauty present in its exacting composition of characters. Through gematria, poesy, wit and intuition, will wel climb unto the innermost secret of magic and mysticism contained therein, unto the supreme realization, the attainment of which will surely imbue man with the power, position and strength of God?
