The Law of Thelema

  • Thelema Basics: 93, Will, Love, and the 3 Aeons This course focuses on some basic information about the Law of Thelema, including introducing the meaning of “Thelema,” “Agape,” the number 93, and the three Aeons. (Approved 6 Feb 2016 e.v.)
  • Thelemic Ethics – This lesson intends to introduce the Thelemic approach to ethics. The goals include a clear understanding of the relevance of “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law” to the sphere of morality and the facilitation of discussion around the Will and Thelemic Ethics.   • Promulgation of the Law of Thelema  This lesson intends to introduce the idea of the promulgation of the Law of Thelema. The goals include a clear understanding of what “promulgation” is and what it is not, how it is relevant to the mission of O.T.O., and how it is important for Thelema in general. (Approved 22 Jan 2013 e.v.)
  • Exegesis in Theory and Practice – Exegesis provides a variety of methods for analyzing holy texts. The word “exegesis” means to “draw meaning out of”. This class will review various methods of textual analysis including: Gematria, etymology, examining the cultural and historical context as appropriate, & studying symbol history and attribute. (Approved 14 Aug 2015 e.v.)

Magick & Yoga

  • 8 Limbs of Yoga – This class module is to serve as an introduction to the Eight Limbs of Yoga as the framework of Thelemic spiritual discipline with consideration of its historical origins. (Approved 26 Feb 2009 e.v.)
  • Liber Resh  This lesson covers the theoretical foundation of Liber Resh, the performance of Resh, and elaborates on some of Crowley’s notes. (Version 1.1; Approved 20 May 2016 e.v.)

  • Little Essays Towards Truth – This course is intended to provide an in depth and prolonged study of Aleister Crowley’s Little Essays Toward Truth.
